Lotus Notes to Outlook migration has become a common scenario, now days. Therefore, Notes to Outlook migration tools are being developed and launched on a large scale. When you create a new message in Microsoft Outlook 2002 Connector, save the message to your Drafts folder, log on to the Lotus Notes R5 client, open the message you saved previously in the Drafts folder, and send the message. Then, you will notice that a copy of the message is not saved in your Sent Items folder in Microsoft Outlook or in Lotus Notes.
After switching from Lotus Notes to Outlook, when you click Mailto link, Lotus Notes starts instead of Microsoft Outlook. This is because Lotus Notes is set as the default mail program in Internet Explorer, or in the Mailto protocol or in Notes.ini file.
